The Wisconsin Medical Society Insurance and Financial Services is looking for a full-time Customer Service Associate to provide general administrative and clerical support for numerous functions and positions within the insurance agency. This position will facilitate agency operations and service delivery to clients. General duties include data entry, production of communication and policy materials, scanning, general marketing support and mail processing. This position provides back-up support for the Sales and Service Associates, the Administrative Assistant and the Personal Lines Representative.
Our Customer Service Associate will be required to obtain Wisconsin insurance licenses within 90 days of employment. This position is full time 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days per week for a 37.5-hour work week. Candidates must have a minimum of two years office support experience. Experience in an insurance agency environment is preferred and familiarity with insurance terms and coverage in property, casualty, life and health insurance is beneficial. Associate degree preferred: extended experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
This position requires computer competency in Word, Excel and similar software applications, as well as data entry skills, excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. This position also requires adaptability and flexibility to function in multiple roles across the team.

Program Coordinator

Our Program Coordinator organizes, implements and tracks deliverables for the Society’s educational initiatives, including programs for physicians and their practice teams. The Coordinator interacts with departments, internally and externally, to complete professional education events. Join our professional services team: coordinate contract agreements; document work plans; maintain timelines; plan meetings; coordinate marketing materials, and provide key administrative support.
The position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in program coordination, preferably in a member association, educational or health care setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, marketing, communications or health care with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Preference for project management or quality improvement credentials. Position requires excellent organization and communication skills.

Wisconsin Medical Society, the largest association of medical doctors in the state, seeks attorney to join our team of professionals in providing legal advice to the Society and its affiliated entities; interpreting laws relating to the practice of medicine; analysis of risk management; contract review; presentations and general corporate work. Further, this position provides support for our governance structure; compliance law; non-profit and corporate regulations; and laws relating to the practice of medicine. Our legal team provides education, research and legislative support for our expanding physician membership and full legal service to the Society.
This is a staff-level position that requires JD, Wisconsin law license and minimum 2-4 years legal experience. Health care and association experience desirable, as is experience with contract law, HIPAA rules, and the insurance industry. Position requires strong analytical and research skills and exceptional verbal and writing skills.
